RBI invited comments on draft circular on Arrangements with Card Networks for issue of Debit, Credit and Prepaid Cards. The draft circular mandates card issuers to issue cards on more than one card-network. It offers customers choice of multiple card networks and restricts issuers from entering into tie-up agreements with card networks.
