The Committee. On Digital Competition Law (CDCL), formed by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to frame the new Digital Competition Act, is expected to submit its report in early 2024, after multiple deadline extensions. As General Elections are scheduled in May 2024, its recommendations may be put on hold until after the elections due to the Model Code of Conduct.
