CCI has released draft regulations for Settlement and Commitment under the Competition Act, 2023. While in a Settlement, parties acknowledge the violation and subsequent liability in lieu of reduction in fines, in a Commitment, the investigation is terminated early when parties accept remedies voluntarily. The regulations are open to public consultation, which can be found on CCI website here
