CCI has ordered an investigation into alleged anti-trust violations by Amazon and Flipkart.  The CCI said that exclusive arrangements between mobile phone brands and e-commerce platforms, as well as allegations of e-commerce companies giving preferential treatment to certain sellers "merits an investigation". DG-CCI will be investigating into the alleged predatory practices including the discounting practices by the e-commerce companies and has 60 days to submit the report.
