Supplementing the Government of India’s vision for e-Governance and Digital India Programme, CCI launched an online guidance system on Merger & Acquisitions (Combinations) of the Competition Act, to simplify the compliance requirements.

The guidance system has been named as 'Do It Yourself (DIY): A notifiability check for M&A under the Act.

The system has been launched as part of the CCI’s outreach initiatives and measures.

This application envisages a staged process to guide the stakeholders in determining whether an M&A is notifiable to CCI.

The interactive online application has been developed on relevant provisions of the Act, relevant regulations and exemption notifications issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
