Govt. has given additional charge of National Financial Regulatory Authority (NFRA) to CCI Chairperson Smt. Ravneet Kaur. NFRA is India’s auditing and accounting supervision authority. The authority oversees the auditing profession and the Indian Accounting Standards under the Companies Act 2013. It is noteworthy that the National Anti-Profiteering authority under GST Regime was subsumed under CCI from 2022.
