Private equity investments in India surged to $15 billion in 2024 with a remarkable increase of 46.2% from the previous year. India remains one of the top markets in the Asia Pacific for financial sponsor activity. Data Infrastructure Trust, which has secured $2.17 billion is top in the list. The growth was driven by sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consumer-related industries, and technology. Several technology and consumer-oriented companies also made their mark in 2024.
