On a one-day visit to UAE, PM Modi met the President of UAE and discussed bilateral relations and global partnership. They signed MoUs to promote local currencies; inter-linkage of payments and messaging systems; plan to establish IIT Delhi campus in Abu Dhabi. It is noteworthy that India is UAE’s second largest trading partner and UAE became the fourth largest investor in India in 2022-2023.
