MoS IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar has announced the timelines for compliance with the Digital Data Protection Act, 2023. For BigTech, it is 6 months and for MSMEs, hospitals, small facturers, and government departments, it is 12 months. It is also announced that the Data Protection Board will be set up within 30 days.
