In a major boost to Indian start-up ecosystem, Facebook is reportedly gearing up to make substantial investments in technology startups in India. Facebook’s India VP and MD was quoted talking about their willingness to make direct investments in tech start-ups in India. Facebook’s first direct investment globally was the acquisition of Meesho, an Indian tech start-up.
