Economic Survey presented by Chief Economic Adviser Dr. V. Anant Nageswaran focussed on global economic landscape, need for reforms in India including ‘deregulation’, energy transition and increased investment by private sector. The Survey recommended integration of private sector initiatives with that of the government, developing the rural sector economy. AI should be used by maintaining a balance with social costs; it also recommends expansion of renewables to include transition fuels like natural gas, & nuclear power.  It pegs India's GDP growth rate between 6.3-6.8%
