In a first for India, Ms. Anshula Kant has been appointed as the MD and CFO of the World Bank. She is currently the MD of SBI, where she previously served as a CFO. As CFO of SBI, Kant managed $38 billion of revenues and total assets of $500 billion. Ms. Kant is a graduate in Economic Honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and a Post-Graduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
